As the Farmers' Market season winds down...

Need I say more? I didn't think so.
I feel sad when the outdoor farmers' market closes for the year, but
I feel pleased that I've preserved so much of the goodness for later in the winter.

We're the same way. Our freezer is stocked, but now I'm a bit out of sorts because I'm not going to the Farmer's Market every week. I spent the summer saying, "What are we eating? Whatever is available at the Farmer's Market."

We were in a CSA this year, but I think next year we're going to stick with the Farmer's Market.

We're still getting fall greens (spinach, kale, chard, etc.) and herbs, but most everything else is done. I'm missing tomatoes already.
