Broccoli -- flower-ettes?

Dear gardener friends;
Is this supposed to happen? Is my broccoli supposed to flower, or did I do something wrong?

Leave a comment, please. In the meantime, I'll try for a clearer picture and I'll hope for rain - for the entire garden.

Broccoli flowers at the end of the season. You can avoid/delay this by picking the stalks before they flower. But all things do come to an end...

Yep, they're done--I've also heard you're supposed to pick them before they flower. Now you get to sit back and enjoy the show!

It's included in their life cycle. Just wait it won't do any harm. By the way, these free gift cards might interest you too. Have a blessed day!

No problem. You just didn't pick it soon enough. The part we eat is the unopened flower buds. (The stems are yummy too when peeled)
